George and Leah got married in 2012 in Nairobi, Kenya. Since then, they lived in the city where they raised their three kids. In 2020, they decided to go back and live at their ancestral home in Rangwe, Homa Bay County, which is a rural area.
Just when they were settling at home, COVID-19 hit the country, restricting agricultural activities and businesses. This was especially hard for the communities since people heavily rely on subsistence farming and local markets to sell their livestock and farm produce. With most activities crippled, people faced extreme hunger in their homes.
George and Leah came in and started distributing maize and beans to vulnerable homes around them, giving birth to Forward Ministry.
We are committed to preaching the Gospel of Grace throughout the nation by reaching out and establishing strong missionary churches which can meet the spiritual, economic, and social needs of the people through evangelism, education, housing, training, and socio-economic activities based on Christian values.
"But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere."
